6-Week Intermediate Salsa Workshop Series (Apr. 25, 2024)

Step beyond the basics and elevate your Salsa dancing!

This is a 6-Week Intermediate Salsa Workshop that people must sign up for in advance because we want to make sure that everyone in the class learns together and consistently.

Who: No partner necessary for this workshop. Because this is intermediate-level Salsa, you will need to have a basic/beginner level of Salsa dance experience in order to take these classes. For example, if you can successfully complete a right turn, crossbody lead, and left turn with a partner while staying on rhythm, this class is for you. If you don't yet feel comfortable with these moves, we cover them in our 6-Week Beginners Salsa Workshop. When the next Beginner series is scheduled, you can find it on the “local events” page on the Latin Dance Made Easy website.

When you register, we will ask if you would like to lead or follow. Anyone of any gender identity can be a leader or follower; we do recommend you choose one role (lead or follow) until you are really comfortable with the moves, and then switch to learning the other role in the future if you are interested. Please feel free to ask questions about this if you are wondering which is best for you for this class series. 

When: April 25th to May 30th, (Every Thursday) from 7:00pm to 8:00pm

- Entry into Bachata Thursdays - which includes a complimentary Bachata class from 8pm to 9pm and social dancing from 9pm to Midnight!

Directions: New City Brewery is located in the vibrant Mill Pond area of Easthampton. Make sure you drive around to the back of the Keystone Mill building using the entrance near the American Legion. Once you enter the driveway, go past the American Legion and make a right behind the Mill building; New City Brewery will be up on the right. New City Brewery has free parking, a full bar and great vibes!

Latin Dance Made Easy is not only a dance workshop is an inclusive community and a fun space that welcomes dancers of all backgrounds. You can continue dancing after the workshop in an open to everyone bachata lesson and then there is social dancing until midnight. New City Brewery is also the perfect venue, it makes everything feel more casual. Low lighting, bar… You can get a drink if you want to take a break and there are sitting areas too. Everyone dances with everyone and I feel like I have made more friends in the last month than in over a year! Just try it, you will come back for sure.
